About Us

Skinny Vic’s Diner & Coffee Stop was established in 2015 in Slinger, WI and relocated to West Bend, WI in 2020. We are a modern 50’s-60’s style diner with Coca-Cola paraphernalia. We offer a fresh, elevated approach to classic diner fare. Specializing in breakfast, lunch and catering, including box lunch for team meetings. Skinny Vic’s caters to those with allergy, especially gluten and dairy, and is celiac friendly. We're proud to serve only the freshest ingredients to make sure you receive an experience that you can't get anywhere else! Being a part of our community is our mission and do everything we can to be part of the schools, churches, and local sporting events. Vicki would like to personally invite you to come try one of our benedicts, corned beef, or our awesome grilled cheese sandwiches!

Our Story

Skinny Vics Diner & Coffee Stop is a premiere diner and coffee shop in West Bend, Wisconsin. Owner, Vicki Lehnerz was a teenager when she started working in the restaurant industry. In 1971, she started working at a diner in Germantown where her love of food and customer service began. She realized that she could change people's lives by serving delicious food and providing them with exceptional customer service. In 2020, Vicki opened the doors of her own restaurant. At Skinny Vics Diner & Coffee Stop, we are all about sharing stories and making memories. We take pride in our food, our drinks, and most importantly, our customers.

We offer catering services for any sized event. We can handle all functions, from significant to intimate and everything in between. Our talented chefs are superb at making sure that your party is a success. We have a large number of satisfied customers and over the years we have developed strong relationships with many of them. Do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or requests you may have! We have all different kinds of options for those with food restrictions, including vegetarian and gluten-free. Our kitchen has separate prep areas for vegan and gluten-free meals. In addition, our chefs have been trained on how to handle food allergies and will make sure that the customer is safe while dining with us. We understand that allergies are a serious matter and our food preparation staff take that responsibility seriously.

Our goal is to serve only the highest quality of food by ensuring every aspect of our business reflects that value. We are committed to providing a positive dining experience for all of our guests, every time. We have a team of highly trained and experienced staff who are continually striving to improve their knowledge, skills, and understanding in everything from our core menu through to new dishes and recipe development. We are dedicated to giving our guests a consistently great experience each time they visit.

Very comfortable atmosphere. The waitstaff is honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. It beat out a couple European places I’ve been to. They were warm, sincere and it felt like they wanted to genuinely be a positive part of my day. The pancakes. Ooofff. So good. So dang good. The breakfast sausage was fantastic! The cherry on top was the fresh squeezed orange juice. (Yes fresh squeezed in house). The whole experience was fantastic. I can’t wait to come again!
