About Us

Established in 2015 in Slinger, WI, and relocated to West Bend in 2020, Skinny Vic’s Diner & Coffee Shop is a modern diner with a 50’s-60’s vibe adorned with Coca-Cola memorabilia. We offer a fresh take on classic diner dishes, specializing in breakfast, lunch, and catering, including box lunches for team meetings. Dedicated to inclusivity, we cater to those with allergies, especially gluten and dairy, and are celiac-friendly. Proudly serving only the freshest ingredients, our goal is to deliver a dining experience like no other. Committed to our community, we actively engage with local schools, churches, and sporting events. Vicki personally invites you to try our benedicts, corned beef, or our fantastic grilled cheese sandwiches!

Our Story

Exciting things are coming to Skinny Vic's Diner & Coffee Stop! We're proud to announce that we are adding a Play Cafe designed to give families in our community a welcoming place to gather, play, learn, and connect. Our goal is to create more than just a play space - we want to provide a safe, clean, and engaging environment where children can explore through imaginative and educational play while parents relax, enjoy great food and coffee, and spend meaningful time together.

While we are expanding with this exciting new addition, we will continue operating as a full-service restaurant with the same fresh meals, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere our guests know and love. The Play Cafe is simply an added service that allows us to better serve families and create even more reasons to visit.

The Play Cafe will feature open play, birthday parties, special family events, and opportunities for learning-focused activities that bring local families together. We're excited to grow alongside our community and create a place where kids can have fun and parents can feel at home.

The guy working at the register even waited to pour a coffee we ordered until the rest of our order was ready so that it would be hot on delivery. They also neatly packed our order and included silverware and condiments without us needing to ask. 10/10 would recommend. You can tell they really take pride in providing good food and great service.

My wife and I had breakfast. I had the eggs Benedict. She had one egg, bacon and hashbrowns. The eggs Benedict was delicious. The hollandaise sauce was to die for, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. Her egg was cooked perfectly, and the bacon was delicious. Our waiter Kyle was the best, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Prices are affordable for the quality of food you get.

Play Cafe FAQ

Is the Restaurant Still Open?
• YES! The Play Cafe is simply an addition to Skinny Vic' Diner & Coffee Stop. The front portion of our restaurant remains available for guests who want to enjoy breakfast, lunch, coffee, and baked goods without using the play area.

Can I order food while using the Play Cafe?
• YES! Enjoy coffee, baked goods, snacks, or a full meal while your little ones play. We even offer seating that overlooks the play area so parents can relax while keeping an eye on their children (Food and drinks must remain outside the play area)

Do I need a reservation?
• No reservation required. Walk-ins are always welcome when space is available. *Reservations are recommended to guarantee your preferred play time.

What ages is the Play Cafe designed for?
• Ages 0-6! Our play equipment and activities are specifically designed for toddlers and preschool-aged children to ensure a safe and engaging environment.

Can I drop off my child?
• No. Skinny Vic's Play Cafe is not a daycare facility. Parent and guardians must remain on-site and supervise their children at all times.

What if we forget socks?
• No problem! Our play area is socks-only.
• Children's socks: $2 per pair
• Adult socks: $3 per pair

What if my child is sick?
• Please stay home if your child is feeling unwell. To help keep all families healthy, children must be symptom-free and fever-free (without medication) for at least 48 hours before visiting.

Can I bring outside food or drinks?
• No, outside food and beverages are not permitted (water is allowed). We offer family-friendly meals, snacks, baked goods, coffee, and beverages available for purchase.

Do you host Birthday Parties?
• Yes! We host birthday parties, baby showers, family celebrations, team gatherings, and more. Ask us about our customizable party packages!
